Long before you ever had a blog, there was a xeroxed 'zine that made waves in the insular little world of sport climbing. Crank! Magazine was published ca. 1991 by some obnoxious kid in Berkeley, CA. People were slandered, lies were told, photos were poorly reproduced, but mostly a lot of fun was had.

We now present, for the historical record, Crank! Magazine No. 1:
