Politically speaking I like Joe Biden. He's predictable and seems to really care about the issues. However, recently, he's been talking about the economy a lot, and he simply doesn't get it. At one rally in New Hampshire he said, "A job is not just a job. It's a sense of pride. It's what identifies you." As a support I can't stand by that statement.
Though I may be in the minority here I know many that stand with me. My job doesn't define me - my hobbies do. If I were fired the actions that took place after employment would much more define me then the day to day while I was empliyeed. I'd probably head to New England until I ran out of money. Then, I'd live with my folks (this doesn't bother me either) back in Michigan and endure the retail floors of Consumerville, MI for a few months until I had enough money to visit good, old Frank Sanders at Devils Tower or maybe buy a flight to Mexico, so I can scale the cliffs of El Potrero Chico.
When my balls hang really low and my teeth are pearlly-white plastic I want those to remember me for the vacations we shared, the late nights at the countless dirty pubs and unrepeatbable, offensive remarks made; cause that's who I am in a nutshell.
